New Tournoi Royalty Chosen Saturday Night

     The annual Louisiana Tournoi Association Pageant was held Saturday night at the Ville Platte Civic Center. Selected as new Tournoi Queen is Bethany Renee Thibodeaux of Eunice. She replaces outgoing Queen Shelby LaBuff. Chosen as new Jr. Queen is Megan Miller also of Eunice. She replaces outgoing Jr. Queen Kaylee Ross. There was no new Teen Queen. Last year’s Teen Queen was Darrelyn Lachney.

     The new queens will be reign over the running of the Tournoi October 25 at 2:00pm at the Industrial Park and at many Cotton Festival events.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
