Ville Platte Police Arrest Robbery Suspect

Arrest made in recent armed robbery case

 

  As reported earlier this week, on April 23, 2011an armed robbery took place at a local convenient store located in the 200 block of Tate Cove Rd., in Ville Platte.  The subject was armed with a butcher knife.  Chief Neal Lartigue is pleased to announce that the case has been resolved and one arrest has been made. After the investigation was completed by Detective Chateuse Richard, a warrant was issued for the arrest of  Julius Mathis Netterville, age 40, of 601 N. Latour St.Ville Plattefor one count of armed robbery.   Netterville was arrested and booked into the Ville Platte Police Department Jail on April 29, 2011where he remains incarcerated at this time with a bond of $ 400,000.00 set by Judge Thomas Fusilier.  Chief Lartigue stated “We are pleased that this case was solved quickly and we were able to locate this criminal and remove him from our streets.”
