Complete but unofficial results from Saturday’s elections show both tax propositions were approved by voters. KVPI-FM was there to broadcast complete election returns from the Clerk of Court's Office.
Just over 90 percent of the those voted in Saturday’s election parishwide, voted yes for the Library Millage tax proposition. The finals numbers showed 1128 voted yes while 119 people or just under 10 percent cast no votes.
In the Town of Mamou’s sales tax renewal , voters there approved it, 86 voted yes and 27 voted no.
