EVANGELINE PARISH JAIL BOOKINGS

     A number of suspects were arrested and booked in to the Evangeline Parish Jail this past week according to a spokesman for Sheriff Eddie Soileau. Among the suspects arrested include:

 

Chauncey Chace Fontenot age 25 of 522 East Street, Mamou arrested April 21 and charged with aggravated battery, aggravated kidnapping and illegal possession of a schedule 5 narcotic. Bond set at $350,000;

 

Randy Paul Matte the Second age 18 of Eunice arrested April 21 and charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Bond set at $25,000;

 

Misti Lynette Guillot Ashford age 34 of Mamou was arrested April 22 and charged with simple battery. Bond was set at $1000;

 

Cordero Derouen age 21 of Basile was arrested April 19 and charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, discharging a firearm in a firearm free zone and illegal carrying a firearm in a firearm free zone. Bond set at $50,000; He was also charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and discharging a fire arm and possession of a firearm in a firearm free zone. Bond set $50,000;

 

Stacy Valliere age 34 if Ville Platte was arrested April 19 and charged with forcible rape. Bond was set at $150,000;

 

Samuel Tyler Gautreaux age 18 of Mamou was arrested April 19 and charged with two counts of simple battery. Bond was set at $2500.

 

Leroy Mose age 25 of Mamou was arrested April 20 and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bond set at $15,000;

 

Robert John Dupre age 17 of Pine Prairie was arrested April 20 and charged with distribution of marijuana in a school zone and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Bond was set at $20,000;

 

Galvis Ardoin Jr. age 35 of Ville Platte was arrested April 20 and charged with simple burglary, theft of over $500 and simple criminal damage to property. Bond was set at $30,000.
