Early lead gives Sacred Heart (VP) easy victory over West St. John, 14-1
Sacred Heart refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against West St. John, recording a 14-1 victory on Thursday at Sacred Heart (VP).
With seven runs in the first three innings, Sacred Heart left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
An RBI double by Brandon Hudspeth, an RBI single by Garrick Fontenot, a wild pitch, a wild pitch, a wild pitch, an RBI single by Andy Lafleur, and an RBI single by Ellis Parrott during the second inning helped Sacred Heart put some runs on the board early.
