Several hundred student athletes from Sacred Heart, Ville Platte High and Pine Prairie attended the annual athlete physicals sponsored by Heathworks Rehab on Thursday. This is the 14^th year, Healthworks Rehab has been sponsoring this free event. Professionals in various medical fields donated their time and talent to review each athlete to make sure they are physically ready to compete during the upcoming school year. There were physical therapists, medical doctors, nurses, dentists and many others doing the exams. KVPI Sports Announcer Tracy Jagneaux was there broadcasting live speaking with Andy Poche and David Vidrine with Healthworks Rehab along with such coaches as Coach Yves Prince from Pine Prairie, Coach Josh Harper from Sacred Heart and Coach Jorie Randall of Ville Platte High.
