The Ville Platte Pitching Machine All Stars are competing this weekend in Oakdale in a Sub District tournament. Last night, they beat Vernon 16-0. Today, they played Mamou. KVPI Sports plans to carry their bracket games beginning Saturday afternoon at 1:30 or 3:00pm. The games continue through Sunday. The team includes Ellis Chapman, Daniel Guillory, Lane Joubert, Atticus Lafleur, Samuel Lafleur, Aaron Lejeune, Wesley Ortego, Gavin Patin, Lane Perry, John Soileau, Rylan Soileau and Payton Veillon. The team manager is Lance Ciapman and coaches Rob Guillory, Michael Soileau and Jake Veillon. KVPI Sports Announcer Micah Chatman will be calling the games at this tournament.
