Louisiana All Stars Eliminated from World Series after losing to North Carolina

     The Louisiana All Stars were defeated by the North Carolina All Stars tonight (Monday) at the Dixie Youth World Series in Laurel, Mississippi by a score 4-3.  With the defeat the team from Ville Platte was eliminated from the World Series.

     Recapping their games, the All Stars lost their first game Saturday night to the host team. They came back and won their second game against Virginia.

     All of us back home in Ville Platte would like to congratulate Hayden Fontenot, Aiden Brignac, Remington Guillory, Dylan Blevins, Evan Deshotels, Gabe Courville, Isaac Leger, Amarion Watson, Bryce Deville, Sam Fontenot, Ethan Fontenot and Landry Lafleur. Congratulations to Head Coach Delaney Fontenot and his Assistant Coaches: Chris Brignac and Chris Guillory.

     The all stars swept through Sub District, District, Regional and State tournament without a loss. We are very proud of the boys, parents and coaches for their efforts and for representing us well in the world series.

     KVPI would like to thank our Sports Announcer Eric Leger for doing a great job doing play by play.
