Ville Platte 6 and under All Stars Visit KVPI Studios

The Ville Platte 6 and under girls all stars visited KVPI studios today to record special shoutouts. The all stars will compete in the Pony League World Series in Youngsville beginning Wednesday. The team includes: Sydia Ortego, Carmen Charlie, Carley Lafleur, Jeniah Leday, Morgan Tezeno, Eliza Lahaye, Maci Droddy, Layla Fontenot, Aida-Lyse Johnson, Jenna Veillon, Riley St. Cyr, Blayklee Thibodeaux, Carley Soileau, Tanilah Richard and Haedyn Phillips. Head Coach Sunny Lahaye and Assistant Coaches Nick Veillon, Jason Soileau and Dr. Brandon Fontenot. The shoutouts will be heard throughout the week. KVPI Sports plans to cover some of the team's games. Good luck to our 6 year old all stars.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
