Baseball Update

The Ville Platte 12 year old all stars Dixie Majors defeated Dequincy 21-0 last night in the District tournament in Deridder. Their next game is today at 1:00pm against the winner of Pine Prairie-Vernon. You can hear the game live today on KVPI-FM 92.5 with Sports Announcer Micah Chatman.

In the Dixie Youth Super Tens, our Ville Platte All Stars beat Oakdale last night in the first game of their District tournament in Oberlin by a score of 13-5.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
