KVPI Sports Update

In High School and College Football action, our KVPI football game of the week will be Ville Platte High playing at Basile High Friday at 7:00 live on KVPI FM, Classic Hits 92.5 and on the web at oldies925.com with Sports Announcer Tracy Jagneaux doing play by play. Pre game at 6;45 and the S.E.C. Report at 6;30pm. Other games in the parish: Sacred Heart travels to play Opelousas Catholic, Mamou Hosts South Cameron and Pine Prairie travels to play East Beauregard.

In College Football, LSU vs. UL-Monroe Saturday night at 6:00pm on Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI FM.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
