Landon Leblanc leads Ville Platte (8's) to 4-0 victory

Landon Leblanc carried Ville Platte to a 4-0 victory over Moss Bluff American (eight's) on Saturday at Mamou with a strong game at the plate.

Landon had two extra-base hits for Ville Platte . He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third and fifth innings.

Ville Platte 's defense kept Moss Bluff American off the scoreboard for all six innings allowing no runs on four hits.

The game was never in doubt after the third, as Ville Platte scored two runs on a two-run double by Wade Pitre.

Ville Platte increased its lead with two runs in the fifth. The inning got off to a hot start when Payton Soileau singled, plating Landon. That was followed up by Wade's single, scoring Payton.
