Salute to Law Enforcement on KVPI August 10

KVPI sponsored a special salute to our local and area law enforcement officers today in a special live call -in program. Among those officers who were in attendance in our studios were Evangeline Parish Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, , Mamou Police Chief Pat Hall, Basile Police Chief Allen Ivory and Assistant Chief A.J. Frank, Chataignier Police Chief Will T. Gallow, Pine Prairie Police Chief L.C. Deshotel and Officer Kevin Tate along with officers with the Ville Platte City Marshal's Office. We want to support our men and women in blue and also remember a fallen officer, Barry Giglio, who was killed in the line of duty last week. Thank you to those of you who called to show your support for these officers who are there protecting all of us 24/7.
