The Trinidadian-British singer turns 71 on January 21st.
Jim was the Voice of KVPI throughout most of the past 50 years. He is currently doing the French News on Monday and Wednesday mornings as well as co-host of La Tasse de Café on Wednesdays. He has one of the most recognized voices in Acadiana and served as general manager of KVPI for many years. He is semi-retired.

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville Platte is open to the public every Friday and
Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
