Pet of the Week
Pet of the Week

This is Drusilla.
She’s approx 2-3 years old…..she was abandoned with her puppies alone on a road…..left to survive on her own.

A couple of good people could not simply drive by and ignore them. They took action and took the dogs in. Drusilla gave kisses to her new foster mom at their first meeting. She’s such a sweet girl. Rescues are the best!

She is a little nervous around new people and new dogs upon first meeting, but has proven to get past that quickly; and so far, she’s friendly with all that she meets.

She loves ham, hot dogs, and especially powdered donuts!

She spends most of her time inside and has no accidents as long as she gets a couple walks a day. She is well behaved inside. As far as her foster mom can tell, she’s a pretty independent dog, not overly affectionate; but when she’s ready, she will walk over and lay close to her foster mom.

Drusilla shows signs of past neglect. She has a scar around her entire neck, most likely caused from a rope or cable wrapped too tight and cutting through the skin.

Let us know if you would like to meet Drusilla and consider making her a part of your family.
