This sweet fellow is Jax. He has spent most of his life tethered to a 30ft cable with little human contact...which is probably why he craves the attention of anyone willing to show him love.
He is currently being fostered and stays in a large fenced in backyard so it is unknown if he is house trained, but he is extremely smart and is a quick learner.
Jax is about 25 lbs, is good with other dogs and showed little interest when introduced to a cat. He gets along great with kids. He can exhibit an abundance of energy when coaxed and can be calm sitting in your lap.
Jax is a little over a year old with a mild case of heartworms, which our Vets said he would do fine if kept on monthly heartworm preventive.
