Ville Platte Pride 10U girls World Series Champs

Congratulation to our Ville Platte Pride 10U all stars girls WORLD SERIES CHAMPS!!! The girls went through bracket play at the world series in Longview, Texas without any losses. KVPI Sports covered all of the games, pool play and bracket play for family and friends and supporters back home on 92.5 KVPI. Thanks to Sports Announcer Tracey Jagneaux and Nick LeBas for doing a great job. Congratulations to the girls, and parents, Coach Brandon Fontenot and Assistant Coaches David and Sunny Lahaye. A great big thank you to all of the many sponsors who made it possible to all of the games in Texas. We're proud of you, girls!!!

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
