Ville Platte Mayor Announces City Hall will be closed to Public

Ville Platte Mayor Jennifer Vidrine announces effective immediately until further notice, Ville Platte City Hall will be closed to the general public. The drive through will be open for the payment of bills. Also until further notice, no utility disconnections will take place. The actions are being taken in connection with the Corona Virus that is spreading everywhere. Mayor Jennifer Vidrine is asking you to avoid crowds and take care of the elderly, wash your hands often and practice social distancing such as no hand shakes and no hugs.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
