Body of Missing Person Located by Ville Platte Police

Ville  Platte Police Chief Neal Lartigue updates report regarding missing man.

 

The Ville Platte Police Department requested assistance in locating Mr. Amos Jones who went missing on December 22, 2017.  According to Chief Lartigue that search has ended.  Mr. Jones was found deceased in an empty house not far from his residence on December 30, 2017.  There was no obvious indication of foul play but the investigation is ongoing at this time and Detectives are also waiting for the report from the Coroner’s office. 

 

 Chief Lartigue reminds residents to report suspicious or illegal activity by calling the Ville Platte Police Department at 363-1313.  Your call will remain anonymous.
