Tune in to an interview with Brandon Arvie, age 25 of Mamou Thursday at 12;30pm on KVPI AM and FM to talk about his boxing career. Arvie went pro a few months and knocked out his first opponent in the first round. In a boxing card Friday night at the Rapdies Parish Coliseum, Arvie will be facing a fighter from Mexico. Also in the photo is one of the fight sponsors, Robert Stevens.

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville Platte is open to the public every Friday and
Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
Admission charge is $3 adults,
$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on
Northwest Railroad Avenue.
