Turnout has been low for early voting in Evangeline Parish where there are no local races or local issues to generate interest among voters. Registrar of Voters Lucas Buller announced 149 voters have voted so far through Thursday for the October 14 election for State Treasurer and to decide the fate of three constitutional amendments. Here is the breakdown: 22 voted Saturday, 26 voted Monday and again on Tuesday,  38 people voted Wednesday and 37 people voted Thursday. The early voting is going on today through Saturday at the Registrar of Voters office in the courthouse.
