PUBLIC SCHOOLS CLOSED MONDAY IN EVANGELINE PARISH

    In a statement to KVPI News tonight (Sunday), Supt. of Schools Darwan Lazard announced “All Evangeline Parish public schools will be closed for students on Monday May 1 as a result of the recent flooding event which has impacted our campuses and caused roads to be unsafe for bus travel. All Evangeline Parish School Board employees are to report to their assigned work site. Please dress in casual work clothes to assist in making your campus fully operational for Tuesday May 2 when we will resume our normal schedule.”
