Eunice Crawfish Cook Off Big Success

Eunice Cook off Big Success

March 26, 2017

The weather was perfect in Eunice today (Sunday) for the 32nd annual World Championship Crawfish Etouffee Cook Off at the Northwest Pavilion.

There were dozens of cooking teams surrounding the pavilion cooking up their own version of the perfect batch of crawfish etouffee. The judges had a tough time deciding on who to present the awards to.

For those who enjoy Cajun music to dance off all the good food, visitors enjoyed the music of Paul Daigle and Cajun Gold, Coz Fontenot and Jamie Bergeron and Kicking Cajuns.

There were arts and crafts booths and fun jumps for the kids. The event is sponsored annually by the Eunice Chamber of Commerce. As  soon as we receive the cook off results, we will share it with you in our news.
