Ville Platte Police Chief Neal Lartigue reports that suspected Burglar Abraham Chambers has been arrested.

On March 21, 2017 around 6 pm the Ville Platte police department received a tip that Chambers had been dropped off at a residence in the 600 block of North Dossman street. Officers responded to the residence and was able to arrest Chambers without incident. 

 

Chambers was charged with one count of Criminal Damage to property, one count of simple Burglary and theft ,his bond was set at 45,000.00 by Judge Gary Ortego of the 13th Judicial District court. 

Chambers also a suspect in three other Burglaries. Detectives continue to investigate the case.

Anyone with information on this case as well as any other illegal activity is urged to call Ville Platte Police Department at 337-363-1313 all callers will remain anonymous.
