Ville Platte Police Make Drug Arrests

Chief Neal Lartigue with the Ville Platte Police Department reports the following arrests

  

On April 11, 2012 Dwayne West, 40 of 713 Rozas Street, Ville Platte was arrested and charged with no reflective gear and possession of cocaine.  West was booked into the Ville Platte City Jail where he remains incarcerated on a $10,000.00 bond issued by Judge John Larry Vidrine.

  

On April 11, 2012 Cordell Edwards, 28 of 316 West Desoto St. Ville Platte was arrested and charged with no reflective gear and possession of marijuana.  Edwards was booked into the Ville Platte City Jail and released on a $2,700.00 bond.

  

On April 11, 2012 Jimmy Lavigne, 31 of 619 Dr. Carver St. Ville Platte was arrested and charged with no reflective gear and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.  Lavigne was booked into the Ville Platte City Jail and released on a $10,000.00 bond set by Judge John Larry Vidrine.

  

On April 12, 2012 Richard Freeman, 29 of 504 Court Street, Ville Platte was arrested and charged with no reflective gear and possession of marijuana. Freeman was booked into the Ville Platte City Jail and released on a $2,700.00 bond.

  

On April 14, 2012 Kyle Morein, 27 of 1431 Zenon Road, Ville Platte was arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule II (formaldehyde).  Morein was booked into the Ville Platte City Jail where he remains incarcerated on a $7,500.00 bond set by Judge Thomas Fuselier with a hold for Probation and Parole.

 

On April 14, 2012 Kano Simon, 27 of 518 East Jackson St. Ville Platte was arrested and charged with possession of schedule II (formaldehyde).  Simon was booked into the Ville Platte City Jail where he remains incarcerated on a $7,500.00 bond set by Judge Thomas Fuselier.

 

On April 15, 2012 Curt Fontenot, 40 of 508 North Soileau St. Ville Platte was arrested and charged with domestic abuse battery and possession of marijuana. Fontenot was booked into the Ville Platte City Jail and released on a $3,500.00 bond.

 

On April 15, 2012 Gladys Pleasant, 45 of 115 Dr. Carver Street, Ville Platte was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Pleasant was booked into the Ville Platte City Jail where she remains incarcerated on a $3,000.00 bond.

 

On April 15, 2012 Robert Gallow, 26 of 711 MLK Dr. Ville Platte was arrested and charged with no turn signal, 2 counts of stop sign violation, aggravated flight, 3 counts of resisting and officer by flight, 3 counts of resisting with force and possession of cocaine.  Gallow was booked into the Ville Platte City Jail where he remains incarcerated on a $25,000.00 bond issued by Judge Thomas Fuselier with a hold for Probation and Parole.
