KVPI is Hiring

Ville Platte Broadcasting, the parent company of legacy stations, KVPI AM and FM, is now accepting resumes and applications for full-time and part time DJ positions. The full- time position includes a daily on-air shift, handling programming, contests, newscasts, promotions, production, and other responsibilities. Must be able to read well, be computer literate and have a knowledge of music. Part time positions including nights and weekends and ideal for students and retired individuals who love music. Experience is preferred but not necessary. We can train the right candidate. Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
