Carly Chaumont named "News Director" for KVPI AM and FM

KVPI General Manager Mark Layne announced today that Carly Chaumont has been named "News Director" for KVPI AM and FM. Layne remarked that she has been covering meetings and filing news stories for several months. "I am very pleased at the work she is doing as a reporter covering all of our local meetings to keep our listeners informed." She has earned the title of KVPI News Director from the hard work she has been doing. Carly is a graduate of LSU Alexandria in communications. In addition to her news duties, Carly is an account representative for KVPI 1050 The Legend and Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI FM. She has been an employee for the past three years.

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
