Pony World Series Update

Ville Platte Girls Update: Here's the latest news from the Pony World Series: The Ville Platte 6U all stars beat host team Youngsville 16-9 over KVPI after a long rain delay. Austin, Texas beat the Ville Platte 6U girls 20-12 in a game over KVPI. The 6U girls won tonight 15-6. Their next game is 8:00am.

The Ville Platte 8U girls were beaten by the Dirt Diamond team 14-5. In a second game, Harlingen Texas beat the Ville Platte 8U girls 16-0. As a result of the loss, our 8U girls were eliminated from the world series. All of us want to express our appreciation to the 8U girls and to Coach Jason Fontenot and his assistants Brian Bergeron, Mike Veillon and Katra Brignac for all their hard work. We are very proud of what you accomplished and for representing us well in the world series.

The Ville Platte 10U all stars beat Laredo, Texas 9-3 and advance to play in the winner's bracket at 8:00am against the Texas Blasters.

We want to thank Coach Tracy Jagneau for covering the games for us to bring them to our listeners for our listeners who could not attend in person. A special thanks to all our sponsors.
