Ville Platte 10 and under Girls All Stars Visit KVPI Studios

The Ville Platte 10 and under girls all stars visited KVPI studios today to record special shoutouts that will air through the week. The team will compete in the Pony League World Series beginning Wednesday in Youngsville. KVPI Sports plans to cover some of their games. The team includes: Taylor Darbonne, Jodie Landry,Chloe Moreau, Kali Shiver, Destiny Lavigne, Ava Johnson, Jenna Smith, Rose Ardoin, Catherine Larson, Harlie Guillory, Maddie Bertrand, Brooklyn Gerald along with Head Coach Shane Darbonne and Assistant Coaches James Shiver, Todd Ardoin and Travis Johnson. Good luck to our all stars in the World Series.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
