  • "There's no title yet, but I'm calling it That's So Raven 2," she said. "It's Raven Baxter. It's still me. But I am a mother this time. I'm going to be a single mother raising two kids, and one of them learns that she has visions."

Twitter has announced it's shutting down Vine, the once-popular video platform it launched in 2013, as it attempts to find a sustainable path forward.

The company also said it will lay off 9% of its workforce, or about 350 people, as a recent effort to sell the company failed when no one would meet the asking price.

  • The Vine app was a hit when it launched, amassing more than 200 million active users at one point.
  • But the site fell off with increasing competition from Instagram and Snapchat. Meanwhile, Twitter appears to be shifting its focus to live video, such as its recent broadcasts of Thursday Night Football.
  • Twitter says it's "going to do this the right way," leaving Vine up for the time being so users can download their videos. "We think it’s important to still be able to watch all the incredible Vines that have been made," Twitter said in a statement.
  • But the mobile app will be shut down "in the coming months."

The man who destroyed Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame was arrested yesterday.

James Otis was taken into custody one day after smashing the star with a pick ax and sledgehammer. Otis, who made little attempt to hide his identity while wrecking the star, reportedly planned on holding a press conference later in the day on Thursday before turning himself in, but authorities got to him first.

  • "The detectives handling the case took him into custody by his house in West Hollywood this morning and took him downtown for booking," said a police source. "We were trying to make contact and then took him into custody."
  • The arrest was for felony vandalism. Otis said he intended to remove Trump's star so he could put it up for auction to raise money for the 11 women who claim that Donald Trump sexually assaulted them.
  • His plan hit a snag as the star came apart after being struck.

Authorities are reportedly investigating Rob Kardashian after he allegedly threatened to hurt a man who has been spending time with his fiancée.

The criminal investigation is looking into claims Kardashian warned a man named Pilot Jones he better stop hanging out with Blac Chyna.

  • Photos surfaced earlier this week that appeared to show a close-up view of Chyna and Jones kissing, though it's unclear when the photos were taken.
  • Kardashian fired off a series of angry text messages to Jones, including one that reads "Leave my wife alone. I'm not playing with you."
  • Some of the other texts, meanwhile, show Kardashian warning that he could harm Jones, though the threats are "a little murky and general," a source said.
  • The allegations are reportedly being examined by the Threat Management Unit of the LAPD. Kardashian and Chyna have been together since January and are expecting their first child.

Charlie Sheen revealed in a new interview that the time has almost come for a third installment of the Major League franchise.

"The script that we've all been sitting on is pure gold and absolutely shootable," Sheen said. "We could be in preproduction tomorrow."

  • Unlike the forgettable Major League: Back to the Minors, Sheen said the new movie will feature original cast members like Tom Berenger, Corbin Bernsen and Wesley Snipes.
  • He also said the script for Major League 3 was written by David Ward, who wrote and directed the first classic film. Sheen believes the new script is as good as the original, with all the heart and comedy intact.
  • He says the film will be about his character, Ricky Vaughn, who has a son that's now a pitcher for the Indians. The movie is expected to be rated R like the original.
  • Sheen said they've been trying to get it made for years, but have run into issues with the rights.
